Behavioral Interviews

Self-awareness, real-world application, and cultural alignment are the top three areas that I hope to assess during a behavioral interview. I put together a few questions that you will want to ensure you answer during an interview.

Self-awareness:

Does your self-perception match reality?

Can you recognize your own strengths and weaknesses?

Do you make informed choices?

When informed decisions don’t lead to the desired outcome, can you assess why and adapt?

Real-world application:

Can you navigate grey areas of decision making?

Do you understand tradeoffs?

Can you prioritize?

Cultural alignment:

Will you be able to work effectively with different people, teams, orgs?

Can you navigate different styles and approaches?

Do your values match the org and team’s values?
