Automating YouTube Keywords with VidIQ Score – Part 2

This video builds off of the previous part 1 video. We are starting with a list of AI generated keywords for a YouTube video. We will sort them based on their VidIQ score and pick the top 8.

Previously we had to manually create the record for each keyword with its score. Now, we will automate those steps.

We first run an Apps Script command on the Google Sheet which will add an entry in our lookup sheet for any missing words. We don’t yet know what the score should be, so we enter a placeholder value.

Next, we show how a Power Automate Desktop Flow can parse out the score from VidIQ’s keyword page by drilling into the Javascript built Div tag.

Last, we run a Power Automate Web Flow that reads each of the keywords we are evaluating. If any of them have the placeholder value, we use Power Automate Machine Runtime which allows us to call the Desktop Flow we setup. When the Web Flow finishes, we have all the scores and can sort and choose our keywords.

In the next step, we will put it all together for the 100x effect by automating updating an entire channel’s worth of videos.
