Do you really think so little of yourself that you can’t sacrifice an hour or two, 3-4 days a week, for yourself?
Harsh. But sometimes that’s what we need to hear. The full version of this quote talks about how we give hours of ourselves to our jobs, our friends, and our family before we give anything to ourselves. Wendler is talking about physical training, but this applies to any effort to better ourselves. We have to be a be selfish to make that happen. But ultimately valuing and prioritizing yourself makes you better for not just for you, but for your job, your friends, and your family. Give yourself the time, you are worth it.
