Too small

Your reading game is too small!

Well, mine is too. But I am fighting the good fight and trying to get better every day. My goal for 2024 is to read at least 60 books. So far, I am on track.

Reading is a key driver of my personal development and my leadership career. If you want to learn more, please check out my upcoming talk with the Microsoft Leadership Enablement Community on April 24th (open to all Microsoft employees). Message me if you need the event details.

If you are struggling to get your reading life going, focus on consistent practice and achievable goals. A good parallel is the Couch to 5k training program for running. If your reading game is on the couch, don’t expect to go out and run a long and complicated book to start. Take ten minutes to read every morning. You will start your day with a positive investment in yourself and you will be amazed where you end up if you do this consistently.
